Reality is often considered to be what we touch with our hands and see with our eyes. What we perceive with our external senses. We get used to a way of being, perceiving and functioning, and we think this is the only way. The mind grows into fixed patterns. Introspective exercises in which we can experience, different states of consciousness, a vaster experience of reality, and widening our perceptions, are very good tools to foster expansion of consciousness.
